Oscillosope in X-Y mode. For an AA5 - set HP 3325 Start frequency 425 KHz Stop frequency 485 KHz Marker frequency 455 KHz. Sweep time .01 seconds Attach homebrew 250 K potentiometer fixture between Marker BNC on rear of HP3325 and Z input of scope. Start the sweep adjust the 250 K pot so that the display shows some dimming similar to picture above. The marker is where the trace switches from dim to bright.
