Stripped Handle Gear |
| Disassembled Handle. Original shaft is staked to the handle. The stake was drilled out. The gear was stamped with "Boston G-171". An e-mail to Boston Gears revealed that the spur gear is still manufactured. My local Boston gear dealer was able to provide them at $12.45 each. |

The shaft was drilled 3/8 of an inch deep with a #43 drill bit and tapped with a 4-40 thread. |
